Weekly Photo Challenge: Solitary

Solitary. This challenge is all about reflective, quietly unexpected moments.

This is a picture of a classically solitaire ring.  We call her Eve.

  1. thanks for visiting my blog & following it….curious how you ended up there….intrigued by yours & enjoyed reading several of your posts 🙂

  2. My diamond fell out of my ring in our 13th year of marriage at a Cracker Barrel. There was a message in that one action. Can’t call it an “act of God” because that would be too funny, also pompous! Thanks for taking a look at my blog.

  3. Hi, thanks for visiting my blog. When I was a teacher in a small town in Oregon, a student at the school I worked at wrote an essay and won a diamond ring for her mom. She designed the ring and the store made it for her mom. Her mom was a teacher at my school. She adopted this very troubled girl and changed her life.

I too adopted a child from “the system” when he was 12 years old. I hate to think what would have happened to him if I had not stepped in. Thanks for your generosity as I know you are blessing a lot of very deserving mothers.

  4. This photo was certainly a surprise, I never expected a solitary ring. It’s a beautiful ring. Thanks for stopping by and for following my blog “Exploring the world: photography, travel, art”.
    Kind greetings,
